Newborn Session Information

Newborn sessions are held during your baby's first two weeks of life. I prefer to photograph newborns before they are two weeks old in order to capture the squishy, sleepy stage. If you are pregnant and are interested in booking a newborn session for your baby, please contact me at info@angelahillphotography.com. I also offer a Baby Plan that is very popular. This plan is designed to capture your baby's first year of life and includes five sessions.

I hope everyone had a great holiday season and that you are enjoying the new year. As many of you know, I close the studio each year during the month of December (except for newborn and baby plan sessions) so that I can spend time with my family during the holidays. I have really neglected my blog and one of my New Year's resolutions is to keep this blog updated regularly. I was determined to catch up, so I made several posts today!

This sweet baby girl's newborn session was my last portrait session for 2010. Baby "A" was just a perfect angel and slept most of the time that she was here. We were able to capture several sweet shots of her sleeping. We also got several great shots of her with her mommy and daddy.

I always photograph my kids each year around their birthdays and this year I was a little late doing H's session. Thank goodness he's ten for a whole year! LOL His birthday was in April and I finally found time to do his session in July. Here are a few of my favorites:

I bought this blue backdrop a year ago and I really didn't think I liked it when I received it. It's been sitting in a box in the studio, so I decided to give it a second chance. I really like the way it photographed and I will be using it a lot in the future.

I had the privilege of doing my sweet friend Sandy's maternity session a couple of weeks ago. Sandy is also a photographer (she owns O'Dell Photography) so I was honored when she asked me to photograph her beautiful family. She entered her school's beauty pageant and I was so excited to learn that she won "Miss Photogenic" and this is the photo that she submitted for the contest.
