Baby "A" was here on Thursday for her newborn portrait session. Just look at her pretty head full of hair! She is absolutely gorgeous and her mommy and daddy are so proud to have her. The photo session went very smoothly and she was the sweetest baby.

Newborn sessions are normally scheduled during your infant's first two weeks of life. This is the best time to capture those precious new moments and the sleepy stage. Newborns are "squishy" during this time frame and it is easier to photograph your baby in poses similar to the ones above. Nothing photographs better than your baby's bare skin, so most of the photos will be taken without clothing. These sessions typically last a couple of hours to allow for feedings and diaper changes. Parents should also be prepared to be in some of the photos.
